Asian Development Bank scouts Heliostrome

The idea that would subsequently lead to the company, Heliostrome, attracted the interest of the Asian Development Bank. In 2019, Heliostrome was selected for the final round of a business ideas competition, looking for solutions to enable Future-proofing for the Water Crisis. The finals took place at the Asian Development Bank headquarters in Manila, the Philippines, where the idea was pitched before a jury of experts.

In 2020, shortly after the start of the corona crisis, Heliostrome was registered as a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Hague, the Netherlands.
